David has been playing guitar, singing and songwriting & performing

since his early days in north Toronto. (North York/Thornhill)

 

His guitar playing influences and musicians he has met along the way have been many. Playing with classically trained musican's and band members from Pursuit of Happiness, Moxie Fruvious and The Tradically Hip while creating his own melodies and songs. 

 

David's acoustic style finger picking along with his electric rock and jazz guitar playing makes him a very diverse, able an unique player.

 

David writes and performs his own, crafted music with various local musicians goups and within his own solo goals.

 

(The Band):

When not working on solo projects; or songs, his band members formed with Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal musicans, bring both favourite classic 's and many orginal published songs to the stage with a rich, colourful and entertaining musical show.

The band (& as a solo "act") plays classic Bowie, CSNY, Kathleen Edwards, The Tradically Hip, Neil Young, Gordon Lightfoot, BeeGees, Rolling Stones, Bruce Cockburn, Vexed, Spirit Box including favorite traditional Gospel, Christmas, & Country tunes to name a few.

 

Back in Toronto:

 

David worked with classically trained pianist Bruce H. a long time friend, and musical mentor in North York, ON, Canada for many years.

 

The Toronto duo supported each other and interest in various

60's, 70's and into the 90's classics with various musical influences.

 

Kingston bound:

David moved to Kingston in the late 90's continuing his  solo efforts and colaberating and supporting local, regional musicians and bands including: Tracey Morgan, Trevor Strong/Arrogant Worms, Chris Murphy, Kevin Head and youth mentoring helping versitile "acts" that can been heard/seen as a solo artist, duo or three or four piece unit.

David play's various "gigs" in the Rideau Canal Region including the prestigous Harry McCleans Hotel/Pub in Merrickville, "Murphys Pub, Carlton Place, ON, Westport, ON and as a a regular, in Kingston, ON @ RCHA Club, Royal Tavern, Legions and private parties and various festivals.

 

Currently; on his "To be Reborne Tour"  David began at the Doghouse Studio in Napanee back in Septemeber 2019; then in November in Port Hope, ON, Decemeber back in Kingston, ON at the very popular landmark Sir Johns, Public House/Pub for a very special "Christmas" concert. 

 

Then in Feb-March in Toronto - but Covid came.

 

David will be travelling again this spring-summer to blues and folk/rock Musical Festivals;  including the Skeleton Park Festival in July; Kingston Blues and into Westport, ON in September. As live music and hosting establishments begin to open up over 2022; David is working on his second album due for release Fall 2022; returning to te road to promote it and other band members songs, among many private and public appearances steadly gearing up.

Davids band play anything from classic rock to folk, blues and orginal favorites. This 3 piece band also enjoys harmonizing and is a "fun" band to have at your event.
